The MicroAvionics UL-200 headset is the perfect headset for ultralight aircraft, offering both Active Noise Cancellation (ANR) and Voice Operated Exchange (VOX) technology. ANR listens to the noise coming into the headset and cancels it out using phase inversion technology, reducing it by 6dB, which is twice as quiet as non-ANR. VOX is a system where the microphone is muted when you are not speaking, resulting in an exceptionally quiet headset.
This headset also features liquid gel earplugs, a waterproof electret noise-canceling microphone, a high-quality speaker for superior voice reproduction and more. It is available in both headband and headset versions.

This headset has been specifically designed to operate in both open and closed cockpits with particular attention to noise reduction and clear communication. The headsets are compatible with our UL100 headsets, those of the Lynx Micro system.
The headset is equipped with ANR (Active Noise Cancellation) and VOX. ANR listens for noise entering the earcup and cancels this noise using phase inversion technology. The result is an extremely quiet noise-canceling headset, even in the harshest environments. ANR technology reduces this noise by 6 dB, which is twice as quiet compared to non-ANR.
The UL-200 also has VOX. VOX is a system where the microphone is turned off when you are not talking. This in turn turns off the speakers in the ear cups to give an exceptionally quiet headset. The VOX level is adjusted by the user by a small control on the headset.
The UL-200 is a first of its kind for microlight aircraft. The result of VOX & ANR means you have a very quiet headset.
According to UL 100, this headset has an integral power supply and can therefore be connected back to back with a similar headset or connect to the radio interface for radio, mobile phone, music or second radio.
Each headset is independently controlled with a volume dial and VOX adjuster on the left earcup.
