Introducing the PPG Smoke U Float: A breakthrough innovation , an affordable dual-inflation system featuring a revolutionary split-and-sealed bladder design. Precision-engineered for paramotor, paraglider, SIV and hang glider pilots who fly over water, the U Float is the first solution of its kind in the industry.

Born from a deep understanding of the unexpected in flight, the U Float harnesses the power of abrasion-resistant Cordura® fabric. Its 10-point Velcro® attachment system allows for quick installation in minutes, providing up to 300N of buoyancy during water landings. Designed to be reused, the U Float easily folds away after contact with fresh or salt water.

Innovative design
Its evolving, conical bladder has a unique shape. Once inflated, the U Float expands markedly upwards, taking the shape of a V, allowing optimal volumetric displacement where it matters most: behind your head.

Innovative functionality
The U Float is suitable for a range of flight scenarios, whether for paramotoring, paragliding or hang gliding. When landing on water, special ‘coils’ dissolve and release a puncture needle into the CO2 cartridge, triggering the bladder to inflate and creating the buoyancy needed for a safe landing.

The U Float's dual bladder design, with independent bladders on the left and right, provides a total inflation capacity of 300N, more than twice the size of an adult lifejacket. Each bladder can also be inflated manually using an oral inflation tube (left and right) and a CO2 hand string.

Easy installation
Installations vary depending on the application. The U Float system is compatible with most paramotor frames, offering 10 attachment points for a versatile setup. It adapts to different frame widths and even harness straps. Installation must ensure unobstructed accessibility, proper reserve orientation, and puncture-free bladders. Designed to be discreet, the system blends into your equipment until it is needed.

33g Dual Redundant CO2 Inflation System
The U Float sets a new standard by incorporating a dual-redundant CO2 inflation system for optimum safety. Independently heat-welded chambers hold the left and right bladders, providing more comfort in difficult situations while ensuring plenty of room for your head.

Innovative material for bladders
The two-piece float system uses specialized material for added flexibility. The introduction of tapered bladders has a significant impact on the packaging and deployment of the system.

Adaptability for weight shifting systems or fixed arms
Unlike other specific designs, the U Float is slightly narrower, offering greater versatility. It does not block weight shifting systems like some frame-mounted systems. It fits both fixed-arm and weight shifting frames.

Improved inflation system
We paid special attention to the inflation system. With an enlarged spoke nut and factory preset torque specifications, CO2 is distributed more efficiently from the cartridge to the bladder.

Strong seams
Every detail counts. After receiving feedback from industry experts, the chosen sewing pattern ensures optimal quality and safety for pilots.

Compatibility with reserves
Safety first. In case of an unforeseen situation, the U Float's vertical mounting system adapts to existing reserve configurations. It is placed behind you, on your frame and "disappears" until you need it.

Simplified charging process
Recharging is a snap: unscrew the coil cap and CO2 cartridge, then discard the used elements. Release all the CO2 from the bladder, compress it and reseal it. Insert the replacement components, and the U Float is ready to use.
